UAB Aurita protects your privacy responsibly. This privacy policy describes what personal information is collected and how it is used.

The main purpose of collecting your personal information is to provide you with transparent information and a smooth, efficient and personalised experience while you use the www.financier.lt online shop. All of this allows us to provide information and functions that meet your needs, and to tailor our services to make them easier and faster to understand.

1. TERMS USED

Seller – UAB Aurita, legal entity code 233087160, VAT payer code LT330871610, A. Juozapavičiaus Ave. 27-7, LT-45258 Kaunas.

Financier  – an online shop available at www.financier.lt.

User (buyer) – any natural or legal person who uses the e-shop, orders and/or buys goods.

Personal Data – any information relating to a natural person, i.e. a data subject who is known or identifiable, directly or indirectly.

Personal Data Controller – www.financier.lt

Account – The result of a registration of a customer, which creates an account that stores his/her personal data and order history.

Goods and Services – all goods and services provided by Financier to the Buyer.

Third Party – shall mean a legal or natural person other than the data subject, Data Controller, Data Processor and persons who are directly authorised by the Data Controller or Data Processor to process personal data.

Administrator – the person responsible for www.financier.lt.

IP address – Each computer connected to the internet is assigned a unique number known as an Internet Protocol (IP) address. As these numbers are usually assigned according to country blocks, the IP address can often be used to identify the country where the computer connects to the internet.

Rules – the current version of the Terms and Conditions of Sale and Purchase of Goods in the Online Shop www.financier.lt.

Direct Marketing shall mean the activity of offering goods or services to individuals by mail, e-mail, phone or other direct means and (or) asking for their opinion on the offered goods or services.

Other terms used in this Privacy Policy shall be understood as defined in the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania.

2. GENERAL PROVISIONS

This Privacy Policy is intended to ensure that the Seller complies with the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on Electronic Communications of the Republic of Lithuania and other applicable legal acts regulating the protection of personal data, as well as the instructions of competent authorities.

The Financier Online Shop Privacy Policy sets out the basic rules for the collection, storage and processing of Personal Data when using the Goods and Services offered by Financier. The Privacy Policy is aimed at protecting and defending the Customer and his/her Personal Data against unauthorised use. The Privacy Policy also applies to www.financier.lt Accounts.

The Online Shop contains links to the websites of other persons, companies or organisations, and that the Seller is not responsible for the content of such websites and/or the methods used by the Seller to enforce its Privacy Policy, and that the Buyer should familiarize itself with the rules of the respective website, the Privacy Policy, and any other documents prior to submitting the information about itself.

The user (buyer) can make the purchase after registering with the www.financier.lt  online shop, also without registration, if the goods are purchased at the business address of the Seller.

3. PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA, LEGAL BASES AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

The information that is collected about Users (Buyers) depends on the services provided to you and the information you provide to the www.financier.lt Online Shop when you start using the services or register for an account. Your personal data is obtained in the following ways:

  • you provide (by filling in and submitting a request form on the website, by calling the contact centre phone number, by visiting customer service offices);
  • generated automatically to the extent provided for by applicable law (when visiting the website and/or social account, using apps);
  • obtained from third parties and/or publicly available sources, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The Buyer may carry out the purchase action by logging in to www.financier.lt . The Buyer is responsible for the provision, accuracy and correctness of his/her Personal Data.

Persons wishing to register must provide their email address and a made-up password. An Account is created during registration. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of his/her own data, such as name, surname, telephone number and email address, and is therefore solely responsible for the accuracy of this data. The Buyer is given a User ID. The Buyer can at any time:

  • correct and/or complete Personal Data in the Account. The Buyer is responsible for the correctness of the corrected and/or supplemented data;
  • contact the Seller at kvepalai@financier.lt to cancel the Account.

The Seller collects and further processes your personal data on the basis of the lawful grounds defined in the legislation governing the protection of personal data:

  • where the processing of personal data is required by applicable law;
  • for the purpose of concluding and/or performing an agreement with you;
  • your consent;
  • for the legitimate interests of the Seller where your private interests are not overridden.

The Seller processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • the provision of the Services, the assessment of the solvency of the Buyer and the management of credit risk, and the enforcement of the rights of the Seller that have been infringed;
  • Ensuring proper service delivery, quality assurance;
  • Direct marketing*.

*If the Buyer does not wish the Personal Data provided by him/her to be used for Direct Marketing or Business Analysis purposes after the purchase of the Goods and/or Services, the Buyer must log in to his/her Account at www.financier.lt and in the Account window, under Newsletter Subscriptions, uncheck the checkbox next to the statement General Subscriptions and click on the Save link. Alternatively, in all cases, the Buyer may send an email to kvepalai@financier.lt indicating that he/she does not wish to receive emails and/or SMS messages or telephone calls. Sending emails and/or SMS messages and telephone calls shall only be interrupted after the Buyer has explicitly indicated the email addresses and/or telephone numbers.

The Seller may transfer your personal data:

  • to data processors (service providers) who provide services and process your personal data on behalf of the Seller as data controller (e.g. IT service providers, auditors, advertising agencies, transport providers, etc.);
  • to other third parties where required to do so by applicable law or where necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the Seller (e.g. courts, government and law enforcement authorities, etc.).

4. PROCEDURES FOR THE USE AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

The User (Buyer) grants the right to collect, manage, process and store the Personal Data of the Buyer to the extent and for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy and other Financier documents.

The Seller shall keep the Personal Data of the User for as long as necessary to achieve the stated purpose. Personal Data shall be erased once the stated purpose has been achieved, except where applicable law obliges the Seller to retain Personal Data for the period of time specified in such law. After the expiry of this period, the Personal Data shall be erased in such a way that it cannot be reproduced.

The Seller shall ensure, by means of internal organisational and technical measures, that the Personal Data provided by the Buyer is protected against any unauthorised actions: unauthorised alteration, disclosure or destruction of Personal Data, identity theft, fraud, and that the level of protection of the Personal Data complies with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.

The Buyer undertakes and is obliged to protect his/her www.financier.lt login password and login name and other data. The Buyer undertakes and is obliged not to disclose to any other third party any Personal Data, either about him/herself or about third parties, if such Personal Data of third parties has become available to him/her, and to inform the Seller immediately of any apparent breach.

5. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

The user (buyer) whose personal data is processed by the Seller has the following rights:

  • to know (be informed) about the processing of your data;
  • get acquainted with my personal data and the way of their processing;
  • request rectification of incorrect personal data, erasure of personal data or restriction of data processing, except data storage, when the data is being processed in violation of the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other laws;
  • disagree with processing of your personal data.

All of the above rights of data subjects will be exercised after the identity of the person making the request has been established and verified. You can do this at any customer service location or by using certain links available at www.financier.lt or at the bottom of the promotional content material provided by the Seller.

The Seller may not allow you to exercise the rights of the data subjects referred to above in cases where it is necessary to ensure the prevention, investigation and detection of criminal offences, breaches of official or professional ethics, as well as the protection of the rights and freedoms of the data subject or of other persons, as provided for by applicable law.

Upon receipt of such a request or instruction from the Buyer, the Seller shall provide the Buyer with a response within a period of no later than 30 (thirty) calendar days and shall perform or refuse to perform the actions specified in the request. At the request of the buyer, the reply must be in writing.

6. USE OF COOKIES

The user may only collect, print or submit content for his/her personal use. The user shall not have the right to publish, manipulate, distribute or otherwise edit in any form the content or the material submitted for commercial or non-personal use.

8. FINAL PROVISIONS

The Seller reserves the right to revise and amend the Privacy Policy at any time. Amendments shall enter into force immediately after their publication on the Website.
